BODY YDOB
Visual research book about my, and maybe your, fetish.

CONCEPT
I am proud to present Bodyydob, part of the Fetish Book initiative at Istituto Marangoni, mentored by the master Carlos Gago, with graphic consultancy by Gregório Poggetti.
In this project, each student was tasked with producing a book that explores a chosen theme, focusing on different perspectives to refine their creative eye and expand their capacity to create complex visual universes. These universes form the foundation for constructing images that will impact our future clients and projects.
The theme I chose was the body, approached from its ethereal conception, where the soul meets the body as liquid meets a canister, to the point where we leave it behind, whether through death or by overcoming mortality through technology. The project also explores themes such as artistic creation, sexuality, violence, love, and esotericism.
The book's artistic curation includes names such as Alexander Calder, Bruce Nauman, Francis Bacon, Hieronymus Bosch, Louise Bourgeois, Michelangelo Buonarroti, Pablo Picasso, Rembrandt, Salvador Dalí, Tarsila do Amaral, among others. In photography, the book features works by Sergio Salgado, Charles Ray, Irving Penn, Helmut Newton, Guy Bourdin, David Bailey, and others.
This work is part of my portfolio and is available for consultation for the development of new projects.
