EVERY POISON STARTS WITH A BITE

This editorial is inspired by the film The Hunger (Miriam si sveglia a mezzanotte, 1983), which delves into themes such as immortality, the tension between life and death, and symbiotic relationships shaped by power and desire. At its core, the narrative revolves around a powerful, enigmatic, and timeless female figure, a presence that guided the visual language of this project and informed it's collaboration with CHB.

The visual approach investigates how fashion can transcend temporal boundaries, where a garment might appear decades old yet still feel contemporary and striking. The editorial also emphasizes restrained sensuality, crafting erotic tension that is never explicit but conveyed through presence, gesture, and atmosphere. This collaboration allowed for a fusion of cinematic narrative, fashion design, and conceptual storytelling, translating the film’s essence into a visually compelling editorial.
